Creating tassels from small pieces of thread, dip dyed to add more dimension and make it effective. The looseness of this sample will allow the fabric to move around the body of the person wearing it, as well as creating movement as they walk.
idea developed from previous experiments, using both the cocktail sticks and hanging threads. For this idea I have repeated small lengths of thread with the cocktail sticks to form a pattern. The threads have been dip dyed black on both ends.

A quick introduction to me as a textile designer and my work. After graduation from Arts University Bournemouth in 2020 with a degree in Textiles I decided that I wanted to strengthen my skills further and have just began my MA in Textile Design at Winchester School of Art. Throughout this year I plan to take as many opportunities as possible, and gain confidence in myself as a designer ready to take my next career steps.
